Media Business Canada (MBC) is introducing a new and better way to market live concerts and shows through our ‘Limited-Partnership Agreement’ with radio and television broadcasters.

How it works

Under the terms of the partnership, producers receive unlimited advertising and promotion of the concert in exchange for exclusive ticket-selling rights assigned to broadcasters.

  • Producer sets the selling price of each ticket sold.
  • Producer selects the venues for all performances.
  • Producer creates and maintains total control of all promotional material provided to the broadcasters.
  • Producer acknowledges full responsibility for producing and staging every concert.

Research from the Madison Research Council and the Elliott Research Group reflect dissatisfaction with how tickets are presently sold to concerts and events.
